My wife & I occasionally do that…it’s great that the neighbors rush over and join in. Unfortunately the yard cats like to dance, too, and they can get dangerously underfoot (we have 6 in the yard – 1 in the house).
I think it would have been a good addition to a conversation in Crustwood yesterday…. I wasn’t there, but I heard about it.
I could have driven them there is Elvis, now that his trunk’s not hanging open….and they could have demonstrated how it works with one of their cornball “comedy” routines.
I didn’t get a chance to read the Friday forum till just before the turn,,,,
And it seems like some comments have been removed!
Especially from you, Stel…..
It seems from other comments that you must have posted a graphic of the directions for inserting a link, and a picture of the monkfish costume…and maybe a picture of Bev…..
None of those are there! Is anybody else missing comments?
Stel’s not blocked. she’s busy making beer and sandwiches for the commando raid to free dry. tried to get her to be chief rappel person, but she declined, citing a she had a pie in the oven or something
The Fergusons are doing the same dance that I do aboard my my galleon The Irish Rover every fourth Wednesday of the month ! For those of you landlubbers, too young to know what I’m talking about, that’s when the Social Security check arrives ( hopefully ).

(I don’t want to post it any bigger and scare other people!)
I will take it back as an exchange. How about this instead?
In a complete reversal of SOP, a flight from fundamentalism, a stab to the status quo, a marked departure from the conventions of the time and a slap in the face to the rules committee, Shirley leading the way as usual marches on to the beat of a different drummer. What some may view as unrefined, the Fergusons have fashioned into a thing of beauty. No pearls, no bangles, no polka dots, no checks and no fears, just the raw energy of Ballard Street gone nova. Gone are the days of free formed bop and boogie, the twist, the stroll all fading memories, the hoedown has gone up town, the rave has gone global and the Fergusons have gone with it. Stand back or step up, either way, the porch glide is here to stay.
Well, I just went back to yesterday and see Stel’s link and copied the URL so I can repost here: I personally only saw her Monkfish costume today, and the other costume of my son’s whale as well as the instructions are still there (in case this doesn’t work).
I’m still new enough that I never know my results until I hit “submit”

Yooo hoooo….
anybody still here?
Big batch of banana daks coming up!
i’m gonna start up the big grinder….
now that I finally got the lid back!
And Elvis is happy to get his trunk lid back, too….he wasn’t crazy about wearing a blonde backside wig….
though thanks, Stel, for literally “filling in.”

I’ve seen that sign at the Ferguson’s, X ….I kinda wish they’d only use it for their dancing.

Bev… that exercise teacher (in front of the red curtain) is very graceful….
maybe she should audition with the dancers for the Sheriff.
I dunno, though…. the Monkey did say he wants authentic hula dancers….
<br?I hear she’s from County Cork.

Yeah, sounds like you need a “virgin” dak…..
Not to be confused with a virgin yak…
They’re not much good for milking…..
As for the notebook…. I’m getting better at it.Some things I miss about having a desktop.

Jerry Van Amerongen has a good eye for detail – e.g. the spectator with his back to us is obviously wearing glasses.

And just what is wrong with monkfish? It tastes nice and is easy to fillet, being cartilagenous.

Has Dry thought about setting up a “sock puppet” e-mail account and sneaking back under an assumed name?

“Free Dry” is being noticed around GoComics. Even by creators. And even on comics that I have never seen Dry at.

There is actually such a groundswell that Dry may want to scrapbook a collection of her support. ;-D (impressive)
