@Thomas Scott RobertsThe only differences I can see are a first edition Superman comic in the frame on the wall and the iPhone has been replaced with a ???. Doesn’t matter, anyway, a very happy Thanksgiving Day to all of my American friends.
This is the first time I’ve seen it – pretty new to Working Daze – so I appreciate it. Considering how much work it must have taken (pretty sure it’s not Photoshop), I would run it several years in a row if I were them.
Great panel, guys. I remember the first time it was used, but noticed right away that there are Hostess-like cupcakes on the table in this one. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
By the end of the day I’ll mention all the changes- if they haven’t all been spotted. Now we’re of to Chris’ parents’ house for Thanksgiving. Her kids are with their Dad in NJ this year.
Wall art behind tableTurkey has a chunk out of itSmirk on (?) Sue’s face (directly left of Jay)Ed’s expressionPhone on table has changedCupcakes, not (what looks like flan)Apple is bittenSoda bottle open and dispensed Glass with soda nowOne glass has ice in it, not waterLid on casserole is crackedRita’s has less hair, and it’s grayingWhat is that colored ‘smear’ in the window behind the curtain? It looks like the red collar/cloth on (?) CJ is smaller in this version (second person from Rita on the right)
Mostly I’m wondering why Dana and Ed aren’t smiling this year. It’s like Dana is scowling at Roy and Ed is expressing distaste…did Roy have something to do with the missing part of the turkey? Something is different with Roy’s hands (or was one of them Ed’s in 2011?) but I can’t quite figure it out. Also the faint colors on the window shade seem rather mysterious.I note that TSR was careful to show Sue’s green (or here, blue-green) earrings so that she would be easy to identify!
Looks like police lights outside the window, and that nearer glass on the right now has Alka-Seltzer in it. I think Ed is sleeping and Dana is scowling at Ed.
Looks like most of the changes have been spotted. Here they are, so you can check your own guesses:Action Comics #1 is now framed (not slabbed) on the wall.Ed has fallen asleep.Dana is annoyed that Ed has fallen asleep.Somebody helped themselves to a drumstick from the turkey.Soda has been opened and one glass is still filled with it.Roy’s iPhone is replaced by a Weight Watchers calculator.Dessert Rockwell painted is replaced bu Hostess Cupcakes. Some idiot cracked the casserole lid.Someone, probably Sal, took a bite of an apple and put the rest back.Police are answering an emergency outside the window. Mrs. Jenson is having an Alka -Seltzer.Rita, Sue and Carolina haven’t been changed as such, as some guessed, although I added more light from the window on Rita’s hair.
It looked to me like someone had taken a bite out of the Weight Watchers calculator (a long wait for dinner maybe?)! On closer inspection I can see it’s just refraction through the glass. Somebody better move Roy’s box of Dumpty Donuts so Rita has room to put the turkey platter down.
I like this photo. Rita does turkey dinner up just fine. Hope everyone got to where they were going to be with who they planned on visiting. Our home for the holidays was last month. Nicer weather..Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

A new entry in my Kiss them Deadly serial story. It’s short, free and fun. Plus you can vote to control what happens next.

I was hoping you’d reissue this one, a genuine WD Classic Art moment. Happy T-day everyone.

Classic, this is becoming a nice tradition.

I don’t remember Dana looking so sour on one side of her face on the original. Is that because Ed is asleep?

Lovely work! The only problem with using Irfanview (or other freeware) is no blending feature. Long ago I used Corelpaint.
