Yeah. Wish I were capable of handling more than one pet. Those ASPCA TV commercials are killing me. :(
My local shelter in the U.S. also appreciates volunteers who walk and play with the animals. It breaks your heart to see how quickly they perk up when a visitor arrives.
I like to go to the bird shelters. They live longer and also appreciate the attention.
