I heard a story where this actually happened on a bus in Seattle. A bright glow fills a bus of afternoon commuters. At first they feared it was Mt. St. Helen again. Then they realized the sun had just come out.
Must have been nice to have had such a cloudy winter before eight very long months of sun come back with people using the wrong time. Count your blessings, Jon!
This reminds me of when we had so little sun out here on the West Coast of Canada. When we did, the weather man said “Don’t be scared of that bright yellow thing in the sky. It is the Sun.”
Could be bad for Garf if both Jon and Liz were looking directly at the sun. It could blind them and Garf and Odie would then be forced to fend for themselves. Not a good situation.

And the blue thing in the sky, Jon, that’s, well, the sky. The white, cotton-looking things therein are clouds.

Deliberately spelling his name in lower case! Oooooooooh! I bet he’ll start crying like a little girl if he reads that.

Welcome to the Seattle/Tacoma area. We’ve had maybe two or three sunny days (partly) so far this year…
