Ppppttt! No! No! No! This simply will not do! Return this to the kitchen and inform them that I will not settle for this substandard dross! Of course, sir. Terribly sorry, sir. Tell them it must be composed exclusively from Indonesian source, banteng or Macan cultivars, hand harvested from a rainfed, lowland sandy, loam soil! Apparently, master Sedgwick does not like this variety of peanut butter...

My dentist’s wife told me she bought Jif once and her boys asked her to buy the good peanut butter when it was finished.

I was never very picky about peanut butter brands when mom was buying them in the 1960’s..Jiffy,Skippy, and Peter Pan didn’t seem much different..Dad and I both liked Skippy so it would usually be used up first..On time mom bought some Laura-Scudders p-nut butter. You held the jar up to the light and you would see 3/4 of a inch of oil floating on top of the solid peanut butter,,You had to stir it to mix it up..No salt, no sugar, it had no taste..Dad tried some and then told mom..Don’t buy that stuff anymore..(Laura -Scudders did make great BBQ-potato chips though)

Before the days of GMOs and all the other stuff that “company farms” use, I wasn’t fussy about brands of anything. Nowadays, I try to make everything possible from scratch and the rest I have to really read the lables and buy carefully.
