Today’s toon is funny …..and, then again, not so funny. I actually used to do this when nothing else would make me feel better: suffered for years with gall bladder attacks that, for some reason, escaped diagnosing, even though I had every test done available. Attacks got so bad, I actually called the ambulance last year, thinking it was a heart attack. Very scary. I finally had my gall bladder removed 2 weeks later. It was so bad, the surgeon was amazed that I went that long with it.
I didn’t mean to get all serious and be a “downer” today, but sometimes a cartoon hits too close to home.

I had my gall bladder removed almost 15 years ago after one of the most painful attacks I’ve had in my life. Happened to me on my birthday and the attack lasted from 9 PM that night until 3 AM the next morning. Had the surgery probably a couple of weeks after the attack and it turned out I had six stones—two in the gall bladder and four in the bile duct.
@ CHRIS, STEL AND 2OLD:Do you have to pay for all those tests? I’d ask for my money back. I am so glad I don’t have to pay for all the tests I have had this past year. I wouldn’t be able to pay if I wanted to.But I know that under-diagnoses are all too common. I think doctors are too specialized to cross-diagnose.

@Dogsniff, Stel posted a nice photo of the Tiki just a few days ago. She even had views of the foyer.

While Stel was posting, I went back a week and did not find her photos to re-post for Dogsniff; Hi, Stel, if you’re still here can you treat him?
