Chazz: Poncho, quit trying to shave the cats! Poncho: I have to! Do you have any idea what cats smell like to dogs?? Poncho: The smell of cats is like vacuum bags filled with chicken sweat. Whiskers of frayed hangman's rope, tongues of crushed beetle parts, eyes like fingernail clippings floating in ashtray water, and the reek of ox breath, crumbling dynasties, and burnt socks wrapped in oatmeal and desecration.

That’s what the owner got out it? An idea for a book? Let’s hope that is all, and we don’t find him joining in on the shaving party.

Thank you for your get well wishes yesterday! As a matter of fact, I am feeling better as each day goes by. I don’t need the crutches anymore (thank goodness! I really hate them!) and although I’m still hobbling along, I am getting around better. (I’m not on Medicare…yet, but I do have good insurance coverage.)
BTW, even though I do find hairless cats “cute”, I agree with you that they do seem like “a breeding experiment gone awry”.

Well….I’m confused. I always thought that the worse something smelled, the more a dog would love it. Therefore, the smell of cats, if indeed they smell as Poncho describes so eloquently, should be pleasing to his senses.

Hold on Ponch, I’m getting my thesaurus out so I can tell you what DOGS smell like to me after they go out in the rain, eat their own feces and vomit and then roll in three-day-old road kill.
