The “thank you” strip would have been good to see. Then we would have known that Connie was grateful to Elly for helping her out. Thanks, howtheduck, for keeping us filled in.
Yes, thanks howtheduck, for the links you send including the ones to the original so we can see if Lynn changed it any. It’s good that Connie thanked Elly and didn’t blame her for negligence for Lawrence’s accident. As for being Lawrence’s special friend to help him with stuff, I had that responsibility for a friend who broke her leg too. It seemed to take forever for her leg to heal and get the cast off.
Hey Howtheduck! You are an actual FBoFW scholar. Have you ever communicated with Johnston one on one? That would be interesting. Do you think Johnston should continue writing about life, her life, and it turns out, most peoples lives? Just curious. I sure do.

I can see why she skipped the one about mental notes.
I’m glad we have howtheduck to fill in the gaps :o)

Poor Mike - a little young to discover those “other people” can be closer than you expect.

“BTW, the “mental notes” strip was the first really funny one I’ve seen in weeks!”
I totally agree. Except it would have to apply to my wife, no one can read her writing including herself.
I am glad she is skipping some though; the story had been going on for a little too long.

I don’t care if the story goes long, she’s doing a good job of updating, but yes-thanks! I like seeing and comparing the older strips.

OpenWings, that would be an……interesting comic strip. To say the least.
