After Arlo cuts the rope, the anvil won’t fall until he goes and stands on the X and looks up to see what went wrong.

Coyote called. He wants his anvil back.

Stand back, that branch is going to break in 3…2…1…

This kind of thing never worked for Wile E. Coyote, what makes you think it will work for you.

It’s the rabbits, not the squirrels that steal vegetables.

Or, he could get a dog. I recommend the sheepdog that works straight union time.

It appears Luddie is not very interested in rodents.

A cat’s appetite or lack of same has no effect on their hunting ability or desire. In fact a well fed cat has proven to be a better hunter than a hungry or starving one.

On the other hand, my terrier mix loves to chase squirrels and even catches and kills a few.

Ace Hardware comes up sooner in the alphabet than Acme. (One theory on the popularity of the Acme name is that it comes up high alphabetically in the phone book, therefore Ace must be better.)

We are part of our environment, therefore whatever we do is natural.Planting crops so our children don’t starve DOES limit food for our fellow critters, but that’s not as important to our spouses and chilluns.

Squirrels don’t even like tomatoes, but they raid them all and suck out the juice and leave the rest.

There’s a lot more than one squirrel. He will have to go through the procedure many times.

I caught two squirrels in my Havaheart trap today. A neighbor saw me release them both times and came over wanting to know why the heck I would do that. He thought I should drown them too. I’m only trying to exterminate the chipmunks who are burrowing into the chinks between the house and the foundation. Squirrels live in trees. Yesterday I got yelled by another neighbor for my curbside chipmunk pile. I think someone might call the authorities if I start adding woodland creatures indiscriminately. Knowing my luck, there’s probably some ordinance against what I’m doing.

You’d be better off using a pellet gun, Arlo. The anvil will ruin the meat and pelt.
