Most gardening is too much work for the results. I lake growing some herbs (just to have fresh things for cooking) and fruit trees have a good yield without much work, otherwise, I prefer just flowers to enjoy more birds and butterflies (and may try a beehive).
Between James and Buggy Crispino, I wonder if Ruthie will ever meet any nice boys. When I was her age there was a nice boy my age who ran races with me to and from school (a mile or 2).

I have tried several summers to grow tomatoes. I think each one I actually ate cost me about five dollars.
