TEACHER: THE BAD NEWS IS EVERYONE FAILED THE VISION TEST. THE GOOD NEWS IS YOUR CAREER ASSESSMENTS CAME BACK WITH LOTS OF GREAT SUGGESTIONS. FIFA REFEREE MICKEY ROURKE'S PLASTIC SURGEON THOMAS KINKADE ART INVESTOR BIG LEAGUE UMPIRE
I can’t disparage those who like Kinkade (or Beiber); the first owners of my present house had a collection of Kinkade.
That I’d use the frame and canvas before keeping one is my “regard” for him as an artist (just as some would probably reuse mine). I HAVE painted over some of my own works which I found less than satisfactory.
Needless to say, I re-did any attempts at decorating in this house (their “accent walls” were colors I considered drab and ugly, as well as the little valence over kitchen sink. My own may be to fem for some (floral) but it matches the fabric I used for the seat cushions on my stools and benches.
@ Meow, thanks! I used the high sloping ceiling to install “up-lights” which work marvelously (and the strip fluorescents are hidden behind foamboard “mountains”) but for me the important thing is my RED countertop appliances and a bunch of my bird collection up on the ledges. It looks pretty good considering I’ve done lots of cooking and baking here for 15 years.
@Tom, I wonder whether the vision test was with (or without) glasses. Obviously they all need them. I got glasses this year but plan to have a cataract operation on one eye sometime soon (glasses are a pain to deal with).

Keep hating on Thomas Kinkade. My wife loves hers; given to her by a son.

Not to argue, but his work bring happiness and joy to millions of people. Seems like that should be one of the primary purposes of art.

Past tense, right. Kinkade is dead.

If everyone “failed” the vision test, I’d find it much more likely that the tester messed up. I thought that that would be the punchline here.
