An updated and even more convoluted of a classic. I think the extra syllables don’t trip of the tongue well.

@Victor1234: Wow, that is an amazingly obscure pine pitch reference. Thanks for the read, its sad that baseball is so lawyer-ed up.

hey MontanaLady, if you think that that’s a tongue twister try: toy boat. or the sixth sheet’s sixth sheep. or buckets of bug blood. or good blood bad blood. or unique new york.

Nice one POPPA1956. I’ve never seen that one before – and it’s impossible.

Just don’t tell the umpire the kid is doctoring his bat…

My favorite is, “Theophilus Thistle, the successful thistle-sifter, in sifting a sieve full of un-sifted thistles, thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb…”

There’s always Dick Smothers’ verse in My Old Man from a long album ago: “My old man’s a cotton-pickin’, finger-lickin’ chicken plucker. What do you think about that?” (To which Tom replies, “You’d better not make a mistake!”)

And George Brett was a clean player who was awesome!
