Definition of good – putting the needs of others above your own desires. Definition of evil – putting your own desires above the needs of others.

Thus clarifying the difference between “nice” and “successful” in terms of survival. You really have to be able to set aside nice where necessity demands it, asking not only “Is it Nice?”, but also, “Is it Necessary?”Is Teresa back yet?

A successful leader is nice to those they lead, because this is a positive reinforcement for helping the leader achieve the common goals of the group.

And so begins the development of a perfectionist or people pleasing personality. Yikes.
