This worked great on my preteen daughter years ago. I’d hum along with the Muzak in stores & elevators not only because I liked the song being played, but also to annoy & embarrass her. It worked! She’d say “stop that Mom!” I didn’t stop until the music did! It’s okay for our kids to embarrass us, but they don’t like it when we return the “favor”!
