Well for once we have a Frog Applause installment where there’s an actual joke that the uninitiated can recognize as a joke, in the conventional sense of the word.
I suppose for some FA Haters being forced to read through the FA archives is a little like being forced to listen to the music on the Guantanamo Torture Playlist.
i was wondering about the Crocogator post on the blog. Just how did the consensus speak? There is no contact form on the blog and the contact info on the blog profile points to this page.
Oh well! Maybe Teresa knows some reptile expert named The Consensus….
Now I have to have a different man bag to go with every man skirt.
And the shoes…let’s not even go there. Turns out, it’s a big mistake to shine them up.
And II absolutely hate Fishnet Fridays.
ejcapulet. Blogs are blocked in China?! I did not know that. I’m sorry for you. The Frog Blog has become (at least for me) an extension of Teresa’s comic strip. You must be puzzled about many of the comments here because several of us comment on both the blog and strip simultaneously.
If you actually want to read about the Mutoscope Voice-O-Graph.
Keep scrolling down - more photos.
BPM, my friend - the Gahoon plays sweet and plays hot. Reminds me so of you - I’ll never forget that night in Rangoon, or what you whispered as we parted…
Jeez, Kenny, ain’t you got no couth? I’m trying to talk romance stuff here, NOT baseball. See what you did? You drove her to the bottle! (Lasorda IS sorta like a god, though, ain’t he? I have a small vial of sweat from Tommy, and it’s made a lot of sick people better - just look up “Lasorda Sweat” in Wikipedia.)
(BTW, people, I’ve noticed a lot of you here at FA are sort of weird, not normal as I am, so thought I would mention Kenny Bristow’s “Mad Mouse”. If you like really great B&W art, and strange mice, and a weird dad with a lesbian daughter with a “Queer As Folk” tramp stamp you-know-where, give Mad Mouse a try. Fair warning - these are NOT Walt Disney’s cute little mice singing “♪♫Cinderellie, Cinderellie,♪♫”.)

How long have you been following FA, Flight Suit? Yes, this is probably a rare joke strip, but there have been others.
BTW, can anyone claim to have visited every Frog Applause in the archive?

I can.

For the record, I am a Frog Lover.

Manskirts Madness! You know, he does look–for a faceless guy–like Chairman Mao…. Today, manskirts; tomorrow, the world!
luezer over 14 years ago
Never saw the point in manskirts. Keep hearing stories about windy days and I’m tired of scaring people.

I’ve visited every FA in the archive. But I’ve never read the blog (the Chinese internet doesn’t allow blogs).

Where’s Todd Rundgren when you need him?
BTW this ain’t quotidian comedy showcase - it’s a POV on a twisted world. You want yuks? turn on C-Span. What do you think the C is for? OK-that too…
LocoOwl over 14 years ago
Yes, this is more straightforward than most FA’s. But still hilarious!
I like the ones that make you go, “Hmmmm! I wonder what Teresa meant by that???”

Think about the cooling breezes in the summer! Then think about the mosquitos.

Scarier than a manskirt is a man-miniskirt.

margueritem, only when I wear my man hot pants. Maybe you could lend me one of your avatars for an ankle tattoo.

Ushindi, the picture of the insides of that thing…looks like one of the many tools Teresa uses to create “Frog Applause.”
