There is something quite familiar with today’s strip. Although there are some flagpoles in the neighborhood, the flags are always USA!.Our lawn service just finished mowing and trimming around our property. The last part is when they use the leaf blowers to clean up afterwards. I must confess, although I profited by the power equipment business, I was never crazy about the noise of a leaf blower…
A few years ago, I was sitting in a meeting facing the windows of the conference room. We were due for a weather change and the wind was just howling through. Debris was blowing around outside; leaves, bits of trash, small rodents, anything not nailed down was swirling around and flying by. I looked up to see one of the gardeners dutifully blowing the parking lot with his leaf blower.

The staff kindly requests that you leaf them alone.

I think the flags were smaller in the original strip posting.

The inventor of the leaf blower should spend eternity with several of them aimed at his ears.

I can never see the point of a leaf blower. Here in the UK, I have a garden vacuum for clearing up leaves.

I’m surprised the red ball didn’t clog Horace’s vacuum cleaner!

This is a rerun, but it’s still clever. I see 2011 on the strip, has it really been that long?
