This can’t end well. Should one assume our young penguin (crash) lands somewhere in the county of Bloom, to be adopted by a carrot-topped youngster named Michael?

Some of you may think this cartoon funny but I did not. Making jokes about adoption is cruel and distasteful. Shouldn’t we stop poking fun at others that are different and that includes adoptees, gays, minorities, handicapped, etc. If you were different, would you like to be the one people made fun of?

Today’s Wiley ducks seem to have male heads and necks, and more or less female bodies. BTW, Wiley lives in Kennebunkport, Maine, or did in 2012.http://bangordailynews.com/2012/01/22/news/portland/renowned-cartoonist-churning-out-non-sequitur-quietly-in-kennebunkport/

Haven’t read anything that made me laugh out loud every time I read it the first five times since I was a teenager rather a while back.

    Brilliant!
