I know what you’re thinking: “Did he pour six bowls or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being this is the most important meal of the day, the most colorful cereal in the world, and gives us a great sugar rush, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?
I don’t get this. I get that this insect-like creature is a character in Lucky Charms ads, although I’ve never seen the ads. And I get he hit a bug zapper. But the spilled bowl of cereal is the puzzle. Is that just so you’ll know that this guy is Lucky Charms? Or is that somehow part of the humor? It’s like someone threw her bowl at the bug zapper, but everyone at the table has a bowl.
Since I don’t buy cereal it took a moment to recognize the bee and I couldn’t think which commercial he represents until the comments. I expected to see the leprechaun tied hostage or such.
I suppose that the bowl was bait to lure the bee. But does the boy’s chair contribute to the joke, with the near leg being extra long and the far leg extra short, making for a slanted seat? Why do they feel obliged to kill the competition if they are eating luck charms and the bee is with the Cheerios fans? Puzzling.
