Ruh-Roh! This does not look good for Tiff. Danger…Danger Tiffany Farrell. That said, wouldn’t it be interesting if she were to take Piro in and turn him in to the “Quillesque” hunk trophy dude she’s been dreaming of???

As for whether or not Dez exists, I would have to say it’s looking more and more like this is a ploy on GE’s part to mess with us, and with Bern. I’ll await further on it, but so far, I don’t think she exists….

Dez seems to be more of a concept than a character now.

Be careful what you wish for, Bernice! Now that you have successfully tossed out Piro and Tiffany, I’ll assume you are bright enough to lock your door. But since the mysterious Dez can sneak in at night, she must have her key also, which means she has been on campus to get it and is probably nearby, since she came from the opposite coast of the country to Moony….And since your RA has also curiously not shown up in spite of all the fuss, perhaps he has a little off-campus love-nest where he is busy boinking Dez….

I still think this frenzied settling-in period in the dorm is a ploy to have Bernice and Tiffany end up as roommates (as I have already suggested here twice before).

Unless this is something like Walden College, if my college experience is relevant most of the bozos Bernice has met so far won’t be there after the second semester. This judgment should also includes Tiffany. Unfortunately, come next fall a whole new group of bozos arrive to waste their parent’s money for 8-9 months.

At this point does anyone really care who Dez is anymore? This storyline has gone on way too long and is basically beating a dead horse.

Am I alone in not being interested in who “Dez” is? As I see it, Bernice basically has a room to herself, which is something most college freshmen would kill for! Now can we leave these people alone (at least until Mr. Evans re-designs “Sun”) and get back to Luann at Pitt CC? I say “Get back to” her, but we’ve scarcely seen her there at all!

Based on the thread in Jane’s World this week, I’d say Chug is a girl.

Dez is likely no one. Just an imaginary person they use to get away with stuff.

Dez is a hazing prank on the newbie. Until there is a physical character assigned and displayed in this strip, proven to be Dez, I will continue to believe that the Dez character dosen’t exist.

Chug, Piro, Viper, Sun, Dez. This is like “the bridge to nowhere”. Greg has milked this storyline so long that I no longer care who or what Dez is. Bernice is lost in a loony bin. a ship of fools, the Twilight Zone. She should have gone to the junior college.

I can not believe Tiff is willing to stoop that low. Has she no shame? I guess not much pride in herself either.Is she really that bad off for a boyfriend? Speaks volumes!

Everyone keeps saying Bernice should “report” Dez to the university. Why? Is there a bedcheck rule, stating that all students have to spend the night in the dorms? So long as Dez is paying for room & board and the check doesn’t bounce, then it’s her problem, rather than the university’s, that she isn’t getting her money’s worth. The university is actually getting a free ride by her staying away but still paying for the room anyway, and Bernice has a room to herself, so why does she care?

Well, at last (!) I’ve actually caught up with FB and Luann! I hope Greg will eventually move along and get back to either Luann or Tiff’s back-story… It has been Very Windy and wet this afternoon! Seems to have calmed down a bit, but there are downed tree limbs everywhere! Looks like none of ours has been affected, though.
