Walk, don’t run. Yes it’s a movie, but that’s my motto too.

Only my eyes. I was never a runner, even when I was a kid. In fact, I was tested for disabilities as a child because I “talked and walked slow.” I tested way above average.

I run on and on about meaningless topics. I do this as a public service because it makes people run when they catch sight of my approach.

I loved to run as a kid (even in HS I would, but girls were seldom allowed to use the track). Back sometime in the 80s I twisted my ankle while carrying a flat of marigolds out my back door (could not see edge of the stoop). I still sometimes sprint a little when I’m in a hurry but not any distance.

once I ran to catch my baby who was running for the door of the store and I fell flat on my face. She thought it was funny. I did not. She sat in the cart after that until she couldn’t fit anymore.

I’m with Stan on this one.I run only when I absolutely have to. I do jog across the parking lot/crosswalk when someone is nice enough to stop and let me go.

I put the two big dogs on a leash and run them down to the lake and back, 1.5 mi. They are as old (in dog years) as I, so pace is not an issue for any of us.
