That’s my girl! Rabbit stew with cabbage, sliced turnips cooked with butter, lettuce salad, you can keep the kale.I know we’re going to hear from the vegan crowd on this one.

Now that Gene is a married man with a kid, he certainly shouldn’t be seen hanging out with a hoe.

I must have missed a LOT of this strip - suddenly it went from the newlyweds restoring a farm house to now having a half-grown kid -- what gives?

nice the feelings Gene and Meg have for each other. still odd that Meg use to look like MaryLou but now doesn’t at all. as an only child she will never have to worry about attention or a sibling who does more closely resemble her mom. i suspect at some point the bio dad will appear.

Meg’s “bowl” style haircut has sure changed her appearance.

Freud said, “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.” Well, sometimes, an envelope is just an envelope, a prop for an enactment of a homey rural scene.

After yesterday’s speculation, I first read the last panel as “Paris well with rabbit,” and I was trying to make any sense of that.

I thought she could mean, “Let the rabbits have it”.I agree with MeGoNo and Staying Anonymous, but it sure engendered a lot of comments yesterday.

The above last line should be…. “It [meat] is just NOT my favorite food type.”
