Ralph: I love my morning cereal! Rats! No milk! (light bulb)
June: Why are you putting melted ice cream on your corn flakes?
Ralph: Because I'm a genius!
The problem with the fluorescent bulbs is that they have mercury switches and there for have to be disposed through electronic recycling; so I guess would could say that Ralph may have ‘quicksilver’ thinking but he is still toxic to be around.
Growing up we had milk strikes. they either refused to deliver milk to the house (yes they did that in the 50"s. or the dairy went on strike. We used orange juice… My grandmother made us try cold coffee in it just once. YUCK!!!!
@Observer fo Irony — “mercury switches” ? Where did you come up with that one? CFLs do have a tiny amount of mercury in the bulb to produce light. Then think about the ubiquitous 48" light tubes that are everywhere and how much they have.
I made florescent lamps for GE for 15 years! There is a tiny drop of mercury that is inserted into each bulb to cause mercury vapor! The starter ignites the vapor and thus causes the vapor to glow and produce the light that shines through the coating of the bulb to give off light!
It IS a bright idea; REAL icecream would be the same as adding the cream or milk with the sugar already mixed in. I’ve had some sorbet with my fruit when I’m out of yogurt.
I’ve got many LED bulbs at my house, some CFLs and some long fluorescent bulbs. I noticed there are long LED bulbs that fit in the same fixture but the ballast needs to be removed but fluorescent bulbs are about 40w, LED 20w.

So even the “light bulb” thought bubbles have gone fluorescent…

I’d think that his light bulbs would be more in the shape of an ice cone

Or as it’s known around here: playing with your food.

The last time I didn’t have milk, I just grabbed a spoon and ate it anyway.
