Ok, I admit it. This one has me stumped. What did Crawling Man do to get rid of Leaf Blower Man? I can see what happened to the leaf-blower itself, but not it’s former user. Or maybe Leaf Blower Man is buried next to the dead bear in Buni’s yard?
I admit it; I once stopped an early morning blast of leaf-blowers at my apartment complex by screaming out the window:“LA MIGRA!”Got real quiet, real quick.
Sat 5 p.m. there were at least 5 different lawn services here in the neighborhood with leaf blowers. I only wish he could have worked a man-eating tiger into it somehow.
I have an electric leaf blower. Still a little noisy but it only gets used one day a year. I have no trees to speak of, and no leaf problem. I use mine to blow the dust, dirt, and other debris out of the animal’s wool before shearing. It makes the job easier, blades last longer, and I think the animals actually like it. Plus, my nearest neighbor is a good distance away. (He makes far more noise than I) I strayed from my point; electric models are quieter if you don’t mind dragging cords around.
Leaf blowers are a symptom of what happens when you fight against natural processes. The one-inch high monoculture of grass is what’s unnatural here, as is the adoration of it as perfection. If you have room for the trees, you have room for the leaves. A pile is mostly air, and will shrink down once it gets wet and starts to decay into humus. I would love to have a stockpile of leaves for garden mulch, with the nutrients the trees absorb from the subsoil.
@Dogsniff. It’s alright with me. Zappa’s lampooning was unmatched. Many send up’s of 50’s and 60’s teen angst songs on that Double album/CD. Yes, I wrote Double album.
This sure was an odd one. I assume the thing he is trying to say is something like:- Even if I would be crawling through a desert, there would be a guy wiht a leafblower (in my face).- The good thing with being a guy crawling through a desert having a pestering leafblowerguy in your face would be that this is a place with no witnesses so no one will know what happened to that guy.
Landlord uses an electric vacuum to get the leaves around the porch steps and the base of delicate bushes. He only runs it early afternoon, but one guy in the apartment next door spends the time yelling and cussing telling him to stop. Some people just want to complain no matter what.
Did anyone notice that the leaf blower guy is whistling as he blows the leaves into a huge pile. but, in the last frame, the crawling guy is now whistling as he crawls away from the hanging leaf blowing machine?
I think the inference is that since the crawling dude is whistling the leaf-blower guy’s tune as he crawls away is that he ate the leaf-blower guy and threw his blower up in that tree. Personally I think that’s a fitting end for all these idiots blowing dirt around so noisily. Kudos!

I use a rake. Quieter, cheaper, a bit more exercise, and it leaves the leaves in a nice pile so I can put them in the trash easily.

Still odd, yet not very funny. IMHO…

I don’t mind Leaf Blowers… that sound means somebody else is collecting all of the leaves the blew from my yard into theirs… I just love technology…

Not only is the disappearance of the leaf-blower guy odd, so is the presence of one deciduous tree in the desert!

When women did the sweeping and raking it was manual. When men began to do it — it became mechanized and noisy.

I believe he ate the guy who was using the leaf blower, hence the whistle as he proceeded on his journey
