Well …. among other things… I have some juice glasses with Prince David and Princess Glory cartoon characters on them, from 1939….a few amber-colored water tumblers and juice glasses with an opalescent gold coating, probably from the 1920’s….And, if it counts, just the top part of an etched, ruby-colored wine glass whose stem broke in the 1906 earthquake, according to the elderly lady who gave it to me about 40 years ago.
I have a depression-era carnival glass punch bowl and tumblers, and two crystal decanters given to my paternal grandparents at their wedding in 1899. I also have a painted glass bell that belonged to my maternal grandmother, but not sure how old it is.
I have some from my grandmother, who passed in 1984 at the age of 96. I have a Daniel Boone mug from the early 1950’s, some glasses my sons had as children, they are now in their 20’s, glasses from the Jewel Tea man that were my mom’s, and Anchor Hocking USA MADE drinking glasses from the early, early 70’2 when gas stations still gave such things away to their customers.
I have a plastic Dennis the Menace mug that dates from the early 1960’s. I use it now to hold quarters for those times I must visit the Laundromat because whatever I want to wash (usually the dog bed) won’t fit in my washer.
A small plastic Lady & the Tramp mug from the 70’s that I used to drink from at my grandparents. Little man used it for a while, but he’s getting older and now it’s no longer cool. Maybe I’ll save it for his kids.

What’re you waiting for, Elliott? Put the glass in the trash and get a mop.
