Lol, cats do actually push away like that if they don’t want to be around.

And right now (3:30am) my Sumi (silky black, one-eyed, teenaged Bombay from a rescue shelter) is wrapped around my neck as I type. Loodie doesn’t know how good he has it.

It took a while but I actually trained our cat to awake me any time of night if she is hungry. So much for cats being unteachable by their choice.

My female cats have taught me how to handle women:Pet them when they want to be petted but do not make full body contact.Feed them when they want to be fed but use good quality food and water, none of this water from the tap it smells.Keep their litter boxes/bathrooms clean and don’t splash when bathing.Be in the vets room during examinations so they can express their displeasure when getting a shot.

Cats rule. They’re more like people than pets. EXCELLENT company

Johnson does an excellent drawing of kitty pushing away! He is definitely a cat person! Love it!

No comments about Arlo’s apparently leaving the kitten?

It looks like Loodie is actually getting all verklempt in panel 2. Of course, once he remembers himself, it’s “Talk to the paw!”

Two outside strays adopted me, and must’ve had it pretty rough – neither one ever wanted to go back out once they got in.

And Arlo persists in the widespread belief that cats understand English. Then again so do I; when I leave for work I always tell my cats “Later, dudes!”

Does anyone think it betrays the memory of the last cat, if you get another one? i had one for almost 15 years and its been 2 since having to put her to sleep.

Such a kid! You can almost hear the “Daaad! Not in front of the guys!”

Kid Sister’s allergic to cats. When her Pit Bull rescued a stray kitten (kitten was not happy, being groomed by a dog), her husband had to collect the unhappy kitty. The kitten had strayed from next door.

In other observations, Arlo is dressed as if he is coming home from work. There is that work thing, again.

Observer of Irony, Mountaingreenery. Thanks to both of you and i will get a few. It was hard because the last few weeks for my cat were bad. Up here we have the Delaware Oh Humane Society which two rescue cats will be a good i would think. LOL earlier post here said someone has a cheetah, that would be awesome but a cat that big im sure would want to roam outside. However i don’t think most dogs would be stupid enough to mess with something like that or a lion.
