Being retired and no longer having to impress anyone, I only tuck my shirt in for VERY special occasions (some weddings and funerals), and then only to please my wife rather than to impress anyone. I know some folks will view my attitude as selfishness. They’re right; after many years of being responsible for the welfare of others and therefore feeling obligated to “fit in,” I now have free reign to enjoy the lifestyle of my own choosing without being concerned with what anyone else thinks.
As for you Nelson…if you want to get ahead in life, you’ll probably have to tuck your shirt in to meet other people’s requirements. You might even have to wear one of those stupid accessories called a necktie. Sheesh, kid, it’s a sartorial jungle out there.
