It’s 2015, can Mr. Pastis give us a story longer than two strips please? PBS has had some of the best storylines ever in the past, if he would stop doing one-offs every day…

They should have gotten Buffalo-style; those come with blue cheese dip.

where is guard dog? where is the silly cat? where is mrs. Pig? where is lil croc and his Zebra GF? where is………. what?? why am i asking all these questions? if it worked for so many people to say where are the crocs? maybe it can work doing what I am doing

I thought it was Guard Duck. He and the cat were the best characters in this strip and they have disappeared. I know Pearls is not a strip of good taste, but today was really not funny either as too many have become lately. Time to get back to work Pastis.

This one is a little sick and twisted, even for Pearls. More of an observation than a complaint – I smile every time I see the crocs.

Wouldn’t bother me if I never saw another Redkaycei Repoc comment ,,, Just MY taste as to what is enjoyable, I guess … Goooo Crocs !!!

If the crocs want carrion, why aren’t they at the bus station…?

morbid, obtuse, meatless, bleached, thoughtless, savagery, nightmarish, utterly wild insensitive behavior – crocs at their best!

KZ and Doublepaw… and everybody clamoring for Crocs….in it’s original form, which is what made it famous, this strip was a one-off gag almost every day, and usually featured only Pig and Rat.

It was one of my favorite strips ever…. and Pastis has said that he still prefers that format, when he can come up with something. The other characters were added along the way, to give him a wider range of personalities to work with.

He doesn’t like doing too many Crocs strips because their slapstick detracts from the more quirky humor of his two main characters…but if he does too few, readers complain.Other people complain if he does any.

He doesn’t write the strip to fit just one person’s taste…. and those who whine and complain are least likely to be humored.And speaking of humor…. on average, Pearls is one of the funniest strips in the world, in my opinion…but every one of them can’t possibly hit everybody’s funnybone.If you can do a funnier comic… be my guest…. maybe you can become as famous as Pastis.But how can anybody feel entitled to say “No, I don’t have a funnier joke for you…but you should be able to come up with one?Oh, and be sure I like it.”

Meanwhile… Cyber Drifter…I find RedKaycei’s comments intelligent and interesting, and I do enjoy reading them.Comments that call out and rag on other posters…not so much.
