IIRC, Mike was in town working at a John Anderson campaign event which is why he was dressed up that night.

I could have sworn that Mike’s line in the third panel was: “It’s his motorcycle, but I use it a lot.”

Stars in her eyes: “You guys wear leathers?” She is thinking bada$$ rebel, as someone put it yesterday, and he is thinking with a body part other than his brain. Never mind that he was riding itch on the bike.

Nowadays if a guy said he was into leather, it would mean the girl was wasting her time.

The most rebellious thing Mike ever did was to create Mister Butts…which is quite an accomplishment for one lifetime!
