It’s amazing how much the early Peanuts years were the Patty and Shermy show, with much less Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Eventually Patty was relegated to second tier status and Shermy pretty much disappeared entirely.
There’s another one where Patty and either Shermy or Charlie Brown are having one of those deep philosophical discussions they were known for: He: “Men are better! George Washington was a man, Abraham Lincoln was a man, Teddy Roosevelt was a man!” She: “Your mother is a woman!” He: “You got me.”

My stepmother gave birth to all girls: five of them to be exact. As for my biological mother, two boys and I’m one of them.
