Revolving doors were replaced first by treddle-operated, then motion-sensor-operated doors. Besides, too many people had nervous breakdowns if they missed a segment.
I once slammed full tilt into a glass door, because it had a sign that said “PUSH”, but I didn’t realize I was reading it in reverse through the glass. Ouch!

My 6 year old grandson like the revolving doors, too. Problem is getting him to stop.
