When I was a kid, I hated having to take naps… It also seemed to take forever for the after school bell to ring, and also “forever” for something I wanted the opportunity to enjoy to finally get here. – Now, I don’t mind naps at all (LOL, or at least I won’t "fight’ taking one, too much)… And as soon as I close my eyes at night to sleep, it’s time to get up again; and it usually takes “forever” for “quittin’ time” to get there and for the week to be over….

I really agree with Frank’s comment in the second panel. My late grandmother used to tell me how quickly time seemed to pass, and I had no idea what she meant. Now that I’m over age 65, the clock seems to be racing. Toward what, I can only speculate…

I don’t think that was Gunther dancing with Bernice. I think it was the guy who woke up in her room from Tiffany’s party

“Well, Frank, Nancy didn’t come out at first and say you were a grumpy old man…”
Y’know, that reminds me of this…

I used to sing in a band, myself (true story!) Now, I think people urge me to “go Solo”… or was that “sing so low..”?

What do you mean you were “gone”? Did you move to a different room in the house or did you leave the house to play with neighbors or something? Sorry I’m just curious.

You should see what someone did to ’Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now", by Jefferson Airplane/Starship. They put up the song, and their incorrect lyrics, on screen! Later I’ll look for it and put it up and show you.

“Take good care of each other, be kind to each other,” ^Just recently, I was giving thought to that good advice!!

Sounds like you guys had learned to make the most out of your relationship and your individual and collective existences… – I’ve learned that, too. I find that one doesn’t have to agree with (or even be like) their siblings all the time, but at least to find a way to connect, and go with that….that is “less work” and easier on everyone’s well being to find some “common ground” and something that you can connect with, than to go around going “I hate you” (and some probably don’t even remember what or how it got started over…) and wasting all that valuable time…

“Hopefully, it’s nothing too bad – I don’t want to see you get kicked off the board here…” ^Oh, no, nothing bad or anything!!!! They were just more “mangled lyrics” the person put up, though they thought they were “doing something” when they posted their lyrics with the song…. – Their version: (♫) “And we can build this thing together, stand this storm forever”… correct version: (♫) And we can build this dream together, standing strong forever.nothing’s gonna stop us now…" – Here is the link (though I’m sure there are other versions floating around, somewhere)…

I can still nail the vocals for a lot of different albums and artists. The only problem is, I sing in the key of “L”.Ar, at least that’s what everybody tells me, that it sounds like ’L anyway…
Some of the stuff I sing is in the key of L too, the LOL key.

@Brdshtt“So many times in life you would see siblings and hear the “I HATE you,” and for some that would carry late into their lives. How unfortunate.”.One never knows which memories will stick hardest or longest, so I decided to make them positive as much as possible. Take the worst kid I’m dealing with, “You know I love you with all my heart and that’s why I have to say NO.”.Years later they remember the first part rather than the last part. (always if possible say “and” rather than “but” because “and” says what follows is because of the love rather than being despite the claim of love.Even if they were about to hit you, they reconsider. If they tell their parents what was said, the parents get it as well.Life is good.
