Isn’t this strip supposed to be set in medieval times? Where did the airplane come from?

This obviously predates the invention of tiny airline seats.

There have been several cartoons about the wizard not using his magic where it would be useful. Perhaps he skipped the class on teleportation?

Since this took place in ancient times, the plane is probably not a jet. Just an old fashion prop job.

We called the Military Grade Duct Tape, 100 MPH Tape! Supposedly, you could Tape a damaged area of an Aircraft and fly, at 100 MPH. Thus, in order to get the Aircraft back to an area that the Mechanics could properly repair it. USN 65-95

If Fred Flintstone & company could fly about on the backs of pterodactyls I’m sure they could come up with something to fly on in medieval times…
