In a movie, this is where everything fades out behind the word “FIN” in great big letters and our quirky heroine gets ready for what happens to her in the sequel. (Question: which French actress could Mona be portrayed by in the film of CLV? If not too obvious, Donna could be a younger Jennifer Aniston. But too obvious? There’s an Irish actress called Susan Lynch who was Mona to the very last detail of face, but she’s poss. too old now - late thirties. Could she do French?

contentment with memories is for old folks—now is the time to make memories

Mona is not content very often so enjoy it til the next adventure.

As Shakespeare may have said but was misquoted, “All’s swell that ends swell”.

That is touching….I hope the peace lasts!

Oh, Mona is absolutely angelic in the last panel. Of course this is only possible when she is asleep.

Oooh! Oooh! This would be the perfect segue into an extended dream sequence! For the next week, we could have Mona’s subconscious prediction of What Might Have Been, had she followed Ryan back to Hawai’i.

(I’m not expecting that this is what we’re gonna see, of course…)
