I saw a lady at the store wearing yoga shorts. They were so tight that the only thing left to the mind was the actual skin color…

Wow. I have to give Johnson some credit here. He had Arlo break the fourth wall without even looking at it, and made Janis do the looking for him. That’s talent.

Arlo! You idiot!!! I wear ‘skinny jeans’, ‘leggings’ and ‘jeggings’. I look as good as Janis in them. If my husband said that to me, I’d wear old baggy sweat pants for him and the other pants out with my girlfriends.

@Gokie5“Long ago an old woman in the A & P commented, sotto voce, on my short-shorts (back view).”.Some years back a classmate — okay many years back — was wearing hip hugger pants.I didn’t complain.I NEVER complained about what women chose to display.I considered it extremely interesting.I had never noticed just how much motion went into simply walking from Point A to Point B and had never had it affect Point D at all.I simply commented that we could replace several hydroelectric generators if we could capture the energy of motion.(true conservationist that I am)Rather than help me tap this unharnessed energy source, she turned bright pink and was mad at me.Perhaps someday, I shall understand why.Worst of all, she STOPPED wearing those amazing devices.Oh well, that’s where a near perfect memory comes in handy.

We’ve all seen much, much worse out on the street, Janis is conservative by comparison….

Wear what you want. I hate this entire ‘you can’t wear that because (you are to old/tall/fat/skinny/young) thing. Wear what you like and if anyone has an issue with it that is their problem – they don’t have to look and they certainly needn’t give their judgmental comments. Far too many people in this world are more concerned with a woman’s appearance than who they actually are – when will we stop commenting and judging women on their appearance alone? – including the Janis’s of the world. If she likes them and is comfortable in them then wear them and everyone else can go soak their head.

You look great in them! Wear them! In Public!

The nice thing about being “old” is nobody looks anymore anyway — wear what you want :)
