Maybe Roland got some of Brokaw’s experiences confused with his, but was Brokaw the sports correspondent in the Saigon bureau? That belongs to solely to Roland.
Government controls more of the news media than the corporations, without owning a single one. If the News doesn’t report what the Government wants, they are cut off from government sources. This sidesteps the Constitutional restrictions on control of the news media since the Government isn’t actually ordering them.
“Sadly the corporations that own 95% of the all the news outlets ".As is pointed out above, every cell phone is a news outlet and thus, the corporations do not own 95% of the news outlets.
Misremembrance? Is that even a word? Sounds like something old whatsisname might have said, you know, president, right after Clinton, lemme think, it’ll come to me. . .
My dad used the word disremember when I was a kid and I thought he had made it up. Then I found out years later that disremember AND misremember are legitimate words. I think they are purely American english that have only recently experienced a comeback.
The changes started under Regan and have been getting worse and worse ever since. My copy of the Code of Federal Regulations that I had to buy for my Broadcast Law class in 1978 is now only useful as a paperweight.
So billo will be kicked out soon too right? Nope. He works for faux news. Don’t forget GT’s wife used to be at nbc and was traded in for a younger model a few years back so he probably remains bitter toward nbc.

If it’s any comfort, Roland, you’re probably the only reporter to tour Reagan’s brain.

Brian Williams gets picked on too much. Bill O’Reilly has done the same thing as least 4 times as much.

So it was Tom Brokaw that got a wedgie in his shorts, not Roland?
