Oh, I feel the same way as the lady in her grumbling moments at my Salvation Army donation shed job.

Don’t ignore blossoming cherry trees, a warm bath, a happy baby, raindrops on roses, etc. There’s plenty if you’re paying attention.

Lots of repeated strips… Is the cartoonist on hiatus or giving up the strip?

We had a family black Lab who made everything better. She had to teach me to not be afraid of dogs first. She even considered indoor cats to be family, so when I married and moved 5 hours away, she worked on making friends with my wagging tail, Pixel, by pretending to be napping and slowly wagging her tail so my cat would play with it. Smart cat played with the smart dog!
Cats can be a comfort too. Come home after a bad day and get greeted with twining furkids mewing, and your mood lightens.

You folks are sad. I like dogs, but I don’t need one to make me happy.
