The annoying side of technology.

That is one of the problems with today’s technology – it enables basically stupid people to be even more stupid.

I abhor, reject, and eschew “social media”. It’s invasive, fake, and pretentious.But then, I’m old.

Sorry, your fifteen minutes was… about an hour ago!

But social media does allow this 60 year old unknown songwriter a place to post her song lyrics and the few recordings she has so she can share them with her family, friends … and even a few fans. And after I die, my songs won’t die with me. There’s nothing wrong with that!

Geez, lighten up folks. Take a deep breath, relax and watch the amazing pageant of life as it unfolds. It’s an amazing world and there’s a lot of stuff going on, new inventions and creations that carry with them good and bad aspects but life surges forward, why spend your time being so grumpy. C’mon sing along with Jimmy Thudpucker: always look on the bright side of life……….(whistle)

Could not POSSIBLY LOVE todays strip more!! Almost 54 year young photographer here who specializes in shooting high-to-very-high end homes for sale so I know the power & perils of social media inter-web-ology. I TRULY despise the worst in human beings, vanity being in the top five and I’ve experienced YET ANOTHER DELIGHTFUL sample of it recently. A friends daughter (whose wedding shower I recently photographed) just posted her engagement photos online (which i did not hoot)…..and there WERE ONLY FIFTY (50) OF THEM.

Every last one of ‘em was just the two of them, in at least 8 or 10 different locations, but I repeat, FIFTY PHOTOGRAPHS of JUST THEM. And even worse, I think the young bride ACTUALLY THINKS that it was o.k. to post them & that ANY, repeat ANYone thought that each othem was worthy of their time & that she & her finacee’ were honestly THAT beautiful & worthy of EVERY LAST ONE.

Jimmy T has changed over the years, put on a little weight I see…

Timely ‘toon. During last night’s PPV snafu, the match was being periscoped.

I went to an art fair yesterday. Plenty of artists had “no pictures, please!” signs posted in their booths. Plenty of people seemed to be unable to read…….
