LOL, apparently our beloved comic’s author is “cracking the whip”. It would seem apparent that all will be expected to “fall in line” . Doubters will have to become “ters” only. – And, then there’s the way that Toni caused Brad to “turn states’ evidence” against his own self. If he can improve, it’s “not out of the realm of possibility”. And the bonus lesson? Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to look like “old Brad”… – Hmm… what other time did a similar event in a comic happen (cough, cough! "a ‘catered’ ‘farewell’ with drinks only) ? – But will that still hold true for Brad and Toni, when they find out who the “mystery” backer is ???

if no one comes around a place, even if it is only 6 months………….. it can easily go towards looking like it has been abandoned for years

It’s a wonder that NASA didn’t think of borrowing them. It could have salvaged the shuttle program!!!

One listen in them , and any group will become a “one hit wonder” to the listener… cos it’ll be the last thing that they hear!

So that’s why he drifted off. He would have come home- he just couldn’t hear them give the “clear to return” signal. And he always was a stickler for that sort of thing.

Although Toni Daytona isn’t always the wisest character in the strip (after all, she’s still a very young woman, yet with a lot of baggage), at times her insights are spot-on. And she does know how to motivate Brad….

I get it that he improved his hair cut but how does one’s jaw get square and the eyes get a bit further apart?

3Sadly, it now seems Bwad (the surprising voice of reason) is now being converted into going for this hair-brained scheme. All (apparently) because he and Toni will get to host their wedding reception there. [sigh]The big questions (to me)…. 1) Is Bwad aware that TJ is going to be a major monetary contributor (and co-owner)? 2) If/when Bwad learns of TJ’s involvement monetarily…. will he still be in favor of it? The interesting speculative plot line question that would be entertaining for me include….3) If they are going to go into the process of renovating this place themselves (and not hire out the work), there could be some interesting (like in the film, “The Money Pit”) rehab experiences they go through.The worrisome thought that occurred to me is….4) With Greg showing the transformation of Bwad, could this be a story-plot line that is gearing up for another artist to take the reigns?!? I sure hope not. I like Greg’s drawing artistry. I think it is far, far superior to others.

You can repair anything even if you have to discard everything but a single nail or nut or brick or tooth.

Buckaroo… I apologize… I actually did not mean to use “Bwad” as demeaning or pejorative. I think it is sort of cute how Toni’s niece calls him “Bwad”. I have alternated using “Brad” and “Bwad” for a while.

Brad is not the only family member now onboard, and contributing costly ideas!

I don’t mean “mystery”, as in to us. It’s a “mystery”, as in “Brad and Toni have no idea that it’s TJ”. The reason I know that it’s TJ, is because that is the one who shook Frank’s hand at the art exhibition.

Well, N-G49… I am sorry you read malice and venom from my statement. It was not meant that way (as I explained earlier). To accomodate your delicate sensibilities, I will attempt my best to use the name “Brad” instead of “Bwad” in future references to him.

Also, N-G49… I would suggest that Brad *could potentially care" if TJ has monetary involvement with Frank in this warehouse venture…. because Brad has on several occasions reacted negatively about TJ’s insurance windfall.
