“The minute he comes down that hatch… I’ll be rested enough to start running again.”
Key detail in the last two full-color Sunday episodes: Johnny Nothing has long red hair. Just before killing Tracy, he will rip off his mask to prove he is really a she: Little Orphan Annie, all grown up and out for revenge. Cancel her strip and not this mess! She’ll show them!!!
In the audience are the police brass)
Just sitting there on their collective bleeep
They are caught up in the play
While Tracy, Johnny tries to slay
Tracy, once a great man of bravery and skill
Just runs around now making noises that are shrill
The years have certainly taken their toll on him
That great light of law and order is growing dim
A sad pathetic shadow of his former self
It’s time he were put on the shelf
How unfortunate has been his fate
That he was allowed to sink to this state
No longer is he worthy of being respected
He has been cast aside and neglected
No sunset ride for our detective
Who sadly has become defective
The time has come to pull the plug
And sweep him quietly under the rug.
Do we have to see Anja every day saying basically the same thing? These stories are so shallow that Locher needs to burn a panel every day just to stretch it out.
Yeah, BB, as Archie and Edith sang, “Those were the days!” Gettin’ hard to get a rise outta Mattie/Jeffie nowdays. Compared to the pace of the strip, that was some action!

Ad-libbing doesn’t usually involve completely disappearing.

How in the world did anyone manage to climb that wall to get to the stairs leading to the museum?

The patrons are restless?!? They’re worried they won’t be able to jump down to ground level to escape this mess!

Good morning crime comics fans. This is really the funnies, as in “it’s so bad it’s g….” I will mot ise that word because I can not tell a lie.
But I shall continue to follow the cop just to see what silliness Locher can come up with?

The hatch appears to be much smaller today. I doubt that The Blank/Johnny Nothing will fit now. He should have entered yesterday.

BEFORE he comes down the hatch, Spacy should hit the submerge button

“The minute he comes down that hatch…” Is that the part where they burst into song?

I hope the audience have their abseiling equipment so they can leave the building before getting caught in cross-fire.

No crossfire-Spacy never has a weapon

How about Tracy and The Blank playing out the finale to “Das Boot” to boffo revues?

Wasn’t the Blank looking down the hatch Sunday, where’s the shadow?

“The minute he comes down the hatch … I’ll scream like a little girl”.
“The minute he comes down the hatch … ” is the first line of the smash Broadway musical duet between DT and Nothing.
