    My father –in his preadolescence– once did accordion; hadn’t played it in years.

    I can totally relate to Ruthie’s frustration! My grandmother’s big joke in our very Italian family was to tease my cousin that if she lost a hand it would be considered a speech impediment.

    I wondered for awhile if Ruthie need rr break. I can’t do that with my arms. Especially my rt shoulder won’t allow it. Recoving from rotor cuff surgery w/arthritis. Doing better though.
