I can totally relate to Ruthie’s frustration! My grandmother’s big joke in our very Italian family was to tease my cousin that if she lost a hand it would be considered a speech impediment.
I wondered for awhile if Ruthie need rr break. I can’t do that with my arms. Especially my rt shoulder won’t allow it.
Recoving from rotor cuff surgery w/arthritis. Doing better though.

Aw, don’t hurt yourself, Ruthie. You push it and pull it and it has buttons on the side to play different keys. Weird Al plays one.

My father –in his preadolescence– once did accordion; hadn’t played it in years.
