Silly Lio, you can’t toss a comic book around in a kiddie pool.

C’mon, Lio, give poor Dad a break! Buy the beach ball and let him have some fun playing toss with you in the wading pool! You can buy comics another time (I’m sure you have money of your own from your various enterprises)….

Lio deserves grounding for this.

Ouch, what a mean kid. I would have killed to have my Dad suggest some activity together.

A beach ball costs much less than comic books these days, unless you dig in the used/bargain bins.

kids never do what parents tell them to do. the play the fantasticks rests on this very premise

I am disappointed in the boy…

Boo. Out of character for Lio, buying comics instead of a ball (crystal ball? Head in a jar? Alien egg? something that could be called a ‘ball’?)

Maybe he’s buying “Beach Ball Monthly”

What? Dad just said “Take the money and have a ball!”

Stealing the money to buy a comic? That’s not how you get to Comic Con; that’s how you get to BE one.
