What I can’t make up my mind about is, when Brewster etc turn into Short Attention Span Avenger etc, ate they totally different people or just the same ones in lettered uniforms?

For example Brewster as Brewster is less incompetent than SA2 is.

Shouldn’t his shirt read (SA)2? (the 2 should still be hyper-script, i just cant do it on my keyboard)

Steven Young…well, if you’re going to get all mathy…Yes, I suppose the parentheses make it apply to both letters…otherwise only A would be squared…

But the words don’t really multiply each other anyway…

So then you start wondering whether it should be (S + A)2 …but it’s not “short plus attention….”

And then you realise… hey. squared isn’t doubled, and we just want two S’s and two A’s …. the whole thing makes no mathematical sense at all.

It’s cartoon-speak…. we know what it means. Maybe Brewster wrote it.So I’ll settle for SA2 ..which, BTW…you can write like this:SA²

Someone might point out that there’s a shortcut for superscript…. you could type ^2^ to get 2 ..but it can’t touch another letter so it’s sorta useless.
