Currently, it’s a football stadium being built on my dime. The only bright spot is that we didn’t give them any new land.

Time and again it is proven that stadiums are losers to cities but they keep giving our money away for them. Last one was a $140 million dollar boondoggle of a college football stadium and it is used 8 times a year.

I went to the ball game today and didn’t see anyone even close to resembling Hollingsworth Hound. [They must have been up in the sky boxes.]

That’s why you want the Olympics in your city: instead of just one stadium, they have to make room for all the venues, “villages”, etc. That velodrome’s got to go somewhere, and Shantytown is definitely somewhere (or will be once it no longer exists)!
Best part, after sixteen days of noisy crowds, the venues will be wonderfully empty for the rest of time, and the Ducky family will have been removed far, far away.
