Come on scrubbing in the local park isn’t the same as taking daily showers and putting on fresh clothes

Joanie is trying, really trying, but she is so much out of her league.

Would the US at this time have had cheap shower-rooms at major train stations the way we do in the UK, or not?

I have seen homeless folks cleaning themselves at fire hydrants in the summer in NYC or in the bathrooms at the airport. I can’t imagine whats that like and I pray I never do.

J doesnt use any particular brand of beauty soap. If she does, you can’t tell by the way GT draws her character.

Does anyone “take a bath” anymore? Showers seem to have been the “in” thing, for years and years. Lots of people have even done away with a tub in the bathroom.
