Facetime call? Clearly I am behind the times. One thing that noticed. My nephew lives 10 mils from me. Yet, I’m making a long distant call to him because he lived in Hawaii and that is his cell number.

Hahaha we’ve all done it~~~~ I suppose!!!

A small crossroads town where I grew up had a service station on one corner and a restaurant on the other side. Could talk across the road in person but had to call long distance.

“Facetime” is Apple’s imitation of Skype.

Wonder what she do on skype?

What have we come to?”.There is no inherent nobility to only use cell phones for distance communication.Sylvia could have something going on at home requiring her presence. She may just have a quick message to pass on..I have phoned people working on my roof because it is faster and beats yelling, people working under the house for same reason. .It is not Sylvia’s fault Opal is worrying image.

What do/did people do when they just had telephones without all this nonsense?

Shades of Ray Bradbury. Remember the Martians that had picture phones? They had a face mask they could use when they did not want to show their expressions to who they were talking to.

This would certainly be me if I had facetime ability!
