a real estate agent using deceit to conceal problems with a property, shocking! those people are worse than used car sales.

Yeah, hire an inspector BEFORE you buy it…all houses have issues, even brand new ones can and often do cause the contractor may have done shoddy work.

Well worth the up front money, after the fact…good luck

Reminds me of the game called Basebrawl!

he reminds me of my old housemate. she’d bought the house after a slipshod inspection done by the guy who’d been recommended by the people selling the house. even then she never looked at the results till everything in the house started breaking. did i forget to mention she had all the brains of an amoeba?

First thought: “You can’t cheat an honest man.”Second thought: “Reality flies in the face of that first thought.”Final take:There are very, very few Real Estate Agents who will knowingly agree to conceal problems with a home they’re selling. But, they are not going to go beyond asking the seller if there are any problems, & giving the same superficial inspection many buyers make. There are some people who will not be honest about problems when they sell their house. They’re the ones who the guy should be going after. Of course, getting a good inspector to look at the property in the first place is a pretty good idea.
