If you are a White male over 50, who gets laid off, you have a better chance of being murdered than to find another career paying as well as your old one.

If you’re a white female over 30 it’s about as rough, double it for every 5 years over 30.

When God closes one door. He opens another. After I lost my job, I started to pursue my dream of opening and running my own business. I have learned a lot and have a lot to learn in doing so.

Some states offer free job retraining, but you have to ask the employment commission. Ask the next time you go to fill out forms or pick up your unemployment check.

Or maybe you’d have to move to find work. You are not guaranteed to have a new lucrative job near your present home.
