    Ohh! Can I come over for dinner? I love good tenderloins, especially if breaded and served slathered with mushrooms and/or sweet peppers….

    I just did a whole Hormel pork tenderloin that came peppercorn marinated in the package. I threw it on the grill after warming it up in the microwave on low while the coals burned to the right level. You have to slice the medallions from the whole thing, then, but it’s pretty good, lightly charred on the outside and just the slightest blush of pink in the middle.Sure, it is grotesque and barbaric, but it is also protein.

    I gave up eating meat for a short time many years ago. Always felt hungry … perhaps I didn’t give it enough time.

    I use zesty Italian salad dressing for that.Cheap, easy, and it works with pork and chicken.
