Radio: El Rushbo here. Obama has changed the name of our nation's tallest mountain, Mt. Mckinley- named after a glorious Republican president- to some foreign name, "Denali"! Supposedly, Indians used to call it that first. The nerve! I suppose we should be happy he didn't rename it "Mt. Mckenya"!

There’s bipartisan agreement in Alaska—has been since at least the 1970s—that it should be named Denali. What do they care about a name given to a mountain as a joke based on a guy who was at the time only a candidate for president?

Which one are you referring to? That comment could work either way.

It makes sense for people in Ohio to name a mountain in Alaska over the people in Alaska naming it, right? Maybe the people in Alaska could change the name of a city in Ohio.

This doesn’t sound like a joke, Lalo, but something Rush would actually say. ;)

Yea, this is amazing. Mckinley never saw the mountain or went to Alaska at all. it was just some white prospector that dubbed it that and McKinleys home state, i think it was Iowa, is taking it personally. What fools these Republicans be.
