Puddles is not a very good live model, I’m afraid. Try to get that sappy expression from memory, Luann. Or use a mirror….

The middle panel is really excellent, I’d like to see this kind of variety of expression more often:) C’mon Luann, don’t give up! Try coaxing the little bean bag with a treat or a toy or something. What would you do if you needed one of your daycare kids to pose for you?

Middle panel is my new Halloween mask

I wish Evan would draw Puddles more like a real dog and less like a cartoon dog. Puddles doesn’t match the drawing style of the other Luann characters.

I think I see a Ren and Stimpy influence in the middle panel.

5I like how Puddles is drawn by Greg. Overall, the comic today is mostly a “nothing” sort of three panel story. I hope Luann is back in her art class tomorrow.

Sure , there’s an easel there in the background, but we don’t know if she was going to draw a poster. She could have wanted a photo (but the camera could be out of view) and it could have been within arms’ reach, once she got Pudz all set….
